This Community Centre is available for workshops, Weddings, programs, athletics, drama, art, music, handicrafts and cultural events for the benefits of the general public. The Center and offices for your events and projects are available at affordable prices. We equally offer all kind of event Decorations at a very reasonable price. Improving and providing access to quality and adequate services for SGBV survivors in Faith Based Communities (FBCs)
Engage seniors in volunteering, mentoring and counseling of peers, reinforce their capacities in digital technology, engage them into social and cultural activities such as sports, drumming, dancing, arts and crafts.
Organize extra-curricular activities for children during summer programs.
Protection and promotion of the rights of children with more emphasis on the rights of vulnerable children.
Provision of crisis counseling, support service, psychosocial and mental health support, other support services, system navigation and case management
Develop the unique abilities in youths by engaging them into leadership, employment and marketable skills, technical skills, entrepreneurship and self-discovery initiatives to empower them to be good contributors in the society
To keep vulnerable populations active and stress-free, we equally run the following activities; Organization programs of recreational sporting activities. Organization of exchange programs on the protection and promotion of the rights of vulnerable populations
The Foodbank and Food Security services conducted by International Center for Family Welfare (ICFW) distributes food in the city of Brampton and GTA. Coordinate and lead all efforts to attain food security in vulnerable communities and families. Distribute cooked and raw food to vulnerable communities and families. Home delivery of food to social centers Devise strategies to relieving and eradicating hunger in poor communities and families.
We Improve and provide access to quality and adequate services for SGBV survivors in Faith Based Communities (FBCs)
Improve awareness amongst survivors (women, girls, children and 2SLGBTQIA+ people) of violence and those at risk of SGBV
Enhance the skills of leaders of FBCs to guarantee friendly and safe worship environments for women, girls, children and 2SLGBTQIA+ people.
Build capacities of women in leadership and Entrepreneurship
Promote the participation and inclusion of women in Political, Economic, Social and Cultural discussions
Enhance the capacities of service providers and community-based organizations to provide service to Francophone Ontarians
We Develop and provide education and training programs to persons who conduct literacy and numeracy training in English and French. We provide refresher and professional English language courses to French Speaking Canadians and French language courses to English Speaking Canadians. We provide Translation & bilingual services in both English & French, interpretation services in various languages especially to minority groups of persons
Welcoming, registration, orientation and referral of immigrants and refugees Provide temporal shelter (This includes the provision of temporary accommodation and assistance to finding permanent housing) Protection and promotion of the rights of immigrants and refugees
Provision of crisis counseling, support services, psychosocial and mental health support, other support services, systems navigation, and case management
Provision of supplementary nutrition assistance and other care services
Provision of self-reliance services comprising; training on employment and marketable skills, job search programs (including writing good CVs and cover letters), prepare immigrants for job interviews and teach them Canadian culture
ICFW develops the unique abilities in youths by engaging them into leadership, employment and marketable skills, technical skills, entrepreneurship and self-discovery initiatives. The goal of the youth programs is to provide flexible and holistic services to help vulnerable young Canadians develop the skills and gain paid work experience to successfully transition into the labor market. This program also helps vulnerable youths to transit from adolescent to adulthood while avoiding and escaping from juvenile delinquencies and waywardness.
In mid-2022, ICFW received funds from the Government of Canada through the Employment and Social Development Canada/Canada Summer Jobs to ease employment of inexperienced vulnerable young Canadians by offering them with professional employment opportunities and experience. The project had a geographical coverage of the city of Brampton and recruited 11 youths who got employment experience.
We engage seniors in volunteering, mentoring and counseling of peers, reinforce their capacities in digital technology, engage them into social and cultural activities such as sports, drumming, dancing, arts and crafts, etc. teach them how to cook healthy meals, encourage them to advocate for the respect of their rights (protection and promotion of their rights) and report all forms of targeted abuses towards them.
We organize extra-curricular activities for children during summer programs and offer Child development services. We protect and promote the rights of children with more emphasis on the rights of vulnerable children.
To keep vulnerable populations active and stress-free, we equally run the following activities;
